Toktar Ongarbaevich Aubakirov (July 27, 1946, Karkaraly district, Karaganda province, Kazakh SSR) - 256th cosmonaut of the world, the 72nd (and last) Soviet cosmonaut.

He graduated from 8th grade school, then worked as a turner at Temirtau foundry-mechanical factory, while he studied at night school.
In 1965 he graduated from high school and enrolled in the Armavir Higher Military Aviation School defense. In 1976 he graduated from High School named after test pilots Gromov and went on a test job.
In the years 1976-1991 - test pilot, the Mikoyan Design Bureau. During his time has mastered more than 50 types of aircraft. He worked in the Crimea with the ship-based aircraft.
